Para conmemorar el 30 aniversario de la serie Street Fighter, Capcom ha anunciado una compilación masiva de juegos de Street Fighter en camino a PS4, Xbox One, Switch y PC. Llegará en mayo de 2018.
Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection contará con un total de 12 juegos, incluido el Street Fighter original, Street Fighter II, Street Fighter II: Champion Edition, Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting, Super Street Fighter II, Super Street Luchador II: Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha, Street Fighter Alpha 2, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Street Fighter III, Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact y Street Fighter III: Third Strike.
Cuatro juegos dentro de la colección (Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting, Super Street Fighter II: Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha 3 y Street Fighter III: Third Strike) serán compatibles con el juego en línea. Los jugadores podrán enfrentarse a la CPU mientras esperan que los amigos los desafíen en las batallas en línea. Los lobbies admitirán hasta cuatro jugadores y cada juego tendrá su propia tabla de clasificación global.
La colección también contará con un museo repleto de arte conceptual original, además de un reproductor de música.
El Street Fighter original hizo su debut en arcade en 1987. Desde entonces, la serie ha vendido más de 40 millones de juegos en las últimas tres décadas.
